So, How Does This Work?

We partner with a platform called Arise Virtual Solutions. They connect Fortune 500 companies with everyday people like you and me to provide customer service, sales, or tech support—all from the comfort of your home office! Depending on the client you choose, you’ll be taking inbound calls, and the best part? You get to decide when and how much you work!

What Do You Need to Get Started?

It's super simple! Here's the rundown:

Be at least 18 years old
Live in the U.S. (except for a few states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin).

Pass a third-party background check
Have a personal computer that meets the technical requirements. (Windows 11/ 12 to 16 GB Ram/ 40GB available storage/ 60 GB total space)

A second monitor is required for most clients.
A noise-cancelling USB headset
High-speed internet (No Wi-Fi, 5G, or satellite internet allowed)
Be available for a training class (Monday-Friday, 4 hours a day for 2-6 weeks)
Work at least 15 hours per week (you set the schedule!)

What About Pay?

This is where it gets exciting—you control your paycheck! Clients pay anywhere from $10 to $18 per hour. You choose the client that fits your needs. Some go for higher pay, while others pick clients that offer 24/7 flexibility or an easier workload. It’s totally up to you!

On average, agents with us make between $400–$1200 twice a month. Payday is direct deposit, twice monthly.

Is the Training Paid?

Great question! Since you're working as an independent contractor, training is unpaid—but here's the good news:

• It’s 100% FREE! Arise used to charge $250+ for certification, but now you pay nothing to get started.

• Some client programs even offer "Earn While You Learn", where you’re paid for taking live calls during the final weeks of training.

• Training is live and required—typically scheduled Monday through Friday in one of three time slots:
  9AM–1PM • 2PM–6PM • 6PM–10PM (EST)

Bottom line: You're investing time to level up your skills—without the cost. And it’s worth every minute!

Now, I know you’re wondering, "Which companies are these?" Here’s the thing—we sign a non-disclosure agreement, so we can't shout their names from the rooftops. BUT once you’re registered, you’ll be able to see for yourself. It only takes five minutes to sign up and costs you nothing to peek behind the curtain.

Are There Any Fees?

Let’s keep it real—yes, there are a couple of fees, but they’re part of the process when stepping into the world of remote independent contracting. This isn’t a traditional job—it’s a business opportunity, and like any legit opportunity, there’s a small investment that comes with big earning potential.

Here’s the breakdown:

• Arise Platform Fee: 5% of your earnings per pay period (charged directly by Arise)

• Homesource Staffing Admin Fee: Flat $35 per pay period

These fees are automatically deducted from your earnings twice monthly, only after you start working and getting paid—so you’re never paying out of pocket while you’re getting started.

What Do These Fees Cover?

The Arise Platform Fee gives you access to Fortune 500 client opportunities, flexible schedules, and a fully remote work environment.

The Homesource Staffing Admin Fee covers:

• Bi-monthly direct deposit payroll

• Contract and compliance management

• Support and communication from our team

• Access to our private Client ONLY Page full of tools, resources, and updates

• Ongoing agent support—because we don’t just sign you up and leave you hanging!

One-Time Background Check

There’s a one-time background check fee, varies by client, paid to a third-party provider. This is required because you’ll be working with sensitive customer information. We don’t profit from this—it’s just part of the setup.

A Few More Things

• No taxes are deducted from your pay. You’ll receive a 1099-MISC at the end of the year.

• As an independent contractor, you may be eligible for business-related tax deductions—be sure to consult with a tax professional!
