Equipment Requirements
Before getting started, make sure your computer, internet connection, and home office equipment meet the requirements for working through the Arise® Platform.
You'll complete a PC Scan during registration to verify that your computer meets the current technical requirements.
Computer Requirements
Your computer must meet the minimum system requirements, including:
- Windows 11 (64-bit)
- Desktop or compatible laptop
- Intel Core i5, 8th Generation or newer or AMD Ryzen 5 equivalent
- Minimum 8 GB RAM — some client opportunities require 12 GB or more
- At least one available USB 3.0 port
- Administrative access to install required software
Computers That Are Not Compatible
The following cannot be used:
Mac or MacBook- Chromebook
- All-in-one computer
- Tablet
- Linux computer
Client-specific requirements can be higher than the general platform requirements. Always review the requirements for the opportunity you're interested in before enrolling.

Internet Requirements
A reliable, hard-wired high-speed internet connection is required for servicing.
Your computer must connect directly to your modem or router using an Ethernet cable.
Not Supported
- Wi-Fi for servicing
- Satellite internet
- Mobile or cellular internet
- Mobile hotspots
Connecting your computer to an unsupported internet source with an Ethernet cable does not make the internet service compatible.
Additional Equipment
In addition to your computer and internet connection, your work-from-home setup will need:
- Two monitors
- Wired USB headset
- Webcam
- Ethernet cable
- Keyboard and mouse
- A quiet, distraction-free workspace

Can I register from my phone or tablet?
No. Registration must be completed from a compatible computer because a PC Scan is required during the registration process.
Can I use a laptop?
Yes. A Windows 11 laptop can be used if it meets the current system requirements and supports the equipment required for your selected opportunity.
Can I use Wi-Fi?
Not while servicing. Your computer must be connected directly to your modem or router using an Ethernet cable.
Can I use satellite or mobile internet?
No. Satellite, mobile, cellular, and hotspot internet connections are not supported.
Do I need two monitors?
Plan for a dual-monitor setup. Requirements can vary by client, so always review the equipment requirements for the opportunity you select.
Do I need a webcam?
Yes. A webcam is required during certification and may be required at other times.
What if I already have a computer?
You may not need to purchase anything. Compare your computer's specifications with the requirements above and complete the required PC Scan during registration.
